Polly Chapman

Polly has her own independent speech and language therapy practice - My Speech Therapist - and lives with her family in Broadstairs Kent, by the seaside. She is a highly specialist speech and language therapist (SLT/SaLT), with over 10 years clinical experience and specialises in early functional communication and language disorders, AAC, autistic spectrum disorder & neurodivergence, Down Syndrome and speech sound disorders (including CAS). She completed her undergraduate degree in English at Exeter University, and gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy from The University of Christchurch & University of Greenwich. In her NHS career she has been clinical lead for Speech Sound Disorders, social communication differences & neurodivergence. She was team lead for the NHS multidisciplinary Children's Therapies team. Polly is ADOS trained and until recently was part of the local NHS neurodevelopmental diagnostic team.
